Waking Up... 00:33
I'm waking up I'm waking up Waking up From this dream
2.
The city sleeps in a warm delusion The street lights hum with a slow decay And every night we sit here, waiting As the buildings slowly rot away The sky is about to fall around us Those bastards brought it on us all The rest may stand there, watching and waiting But I won't be there for the fall We'll take a highway night drive And try to get out of this place alive We'll never make it if we're slow So let's go I wanna flee the country Pack up the car and drive And if you wanna come with me We can be in BC by tonight This is not a revolution This is not the only way But I don't have a better solution I just wanna get away We'll take a highway night drive And day by day, we'll survive Take this party on the road So let's go I wanna flee the country Pack up the car and drive And if you wanna come with me We'll be out of this town by tonight I wanna flee the country Pack up the car and drive And if you wanna come with me We can be in BC by tonight We'll take a highway night drive And day by day, we'll survive We'll never make it if we're slow So let's go I wanna flee the country Pack up the car and drive And if you wanna come with me We'll be out of this town by tonight I wanna flee the country Pack up the car and drive And if you wanna come with me We can be in BC We'll be in BC We can be in BC by tonight

Rain slides down Across the glass Counting memories As they pass On and on The moments go Losing time To this endless road See the grass It starts to fade As night consumes Its slender blades And still our car Slides and shakes Tracing lines For time to erase If we grip the wheel And push ahead Soon enough We'll reach the end Headlights flash From behind But the road is thin And tends to wind Too late now To let them pass So we'll wait And watch the glass If we grip the wheel And push ahead Soon enough We'll reach the end If we grip the wheel And push ahead Soon enough We'll all be dead We think that our lives are made up of constants But we constantly change So do you believe that your life is important? Or is it enough if it's only a game? If we grip the wheel And push ahead Soon enough We'll reach the end If we grip the wheel And push ahead Soon enough We'll reach the end
4.
A van begins to chase us through the night Frantic flashing headlights sear into our weary eyes Silence shattered by the deadly screech Of tires sliding, barely clinging to the icy streets What has become of everything? When did our reality become a frightened fever dream? Young guns running out of time But the blackness of eternity Will never make us lose our drive Around a turn, the van is out of sight, when A hidden passage beckons in the forest to our right Brush and brambles claw against our car As we plunge into the mystery and the safety of the dark What has become of everything? When did our reality become a frightened fever dream? Young guns running out of time But the blackness of eternity Will never make us lose our drive Take us Away from all of this Somewhere where this sort of thing Doesn't exist Young guns running out of time But the blackness of eternity Will never make us lose our drive

I can't remember the last time that we sat By the roadside And felt the river gently track the time As it flowed by Have we been here before? Could there be something more? Or was it just a long-forgotten dream? Is it safe enough to move ahead, In the moonlight? Or should we wait the night and try again, With the sunrise? If we stop to catch our breath, Can we get back what we left? What will rise up from this chapter's end? Because I I'm running out of places to call mine I'm running out of space and out of time We left the city's chaos far behind (And now we're here) But I can't escape the voices in my mind (Or all my fear) There's always something new, always Something more to do Just trying to stay alive until we're dead But I I'm running out of places to call mine I'm running out of space and out of time I'm running out of ways to ease my mind, sick of Living in a haze to meet the grind Running out of days to live my life, always Looking for another wave to ride
6.
Back to the ways That terrify our enemies These are they days That burn into our memories Another 100 miles to happiness It's time to start again Take the emptiness away Cast the demons from our minds And we'll be waiting for a better day Two twenties and a couple fives And we'll be onto better lives Fill the tank, and we'll be On our way We're on the run From the sound of our own footsteps These are the days That melt into the sunset Another 50 miles to happiness It's time to start again 'Cause no one knows when they'll be Gone forever Take the emptiness away Cast the demons from our minds We'll be waiting for a better day Four twenties and a couple fives And we'll be onto better lives Fill the tank, and we'll be On our way And as we roll up to a stop again A man approaches me Covered in rags, and Laden with bags Heal yourself through me he said Cast the demons from me and I will repay you on a better day Six quarters and a couple dimes And here's something for your time Take these cigarettes and I'll be on my way

Headlights Plow through the snow We're Frozen With nowhere to go Trembling Rubber on ice The oncoming van Closing in from behind 100 miles an hour In a full 360 spin Not quite sure, whether this is the end But I'm sure I've never felt like this before Tell me, how did we End up like this, no one Warned me That death could come so quick We could be, sitting back at Home right now Watching late night TV On a comfortable couch 100 miles an hour In a full 360 spin Not quite sure, whether this is the end But I know I've never felt this alive before What has become of everything? When did our reality become a frightened fever dream? But I'd rather feel like this Than be stuck at home alone Just waiting out existence Until it's all gone

Two figures slide out across the ice Hot in pursuit, as we flee through the night Tie dye shirts, and long gray beards swinging Frantic shouts ringing in our ears, screaming "Please don't run, or you'll hurt yourselves We're only trying to help The road to our homeland is no longer safe You can still turn back before it's too late" "There are things you just don't know, the World is full of Places you can't go Just search for what you're looking for From the safety of your home" You don't understand, my friends This world is falling apart Everyone's afraid of something Hiding in the dark We just wanna get away And leave this crumbling mess So let us go, and if we die We'll die among the rest "We understand that you want to escape All the suffering and the pain You want to drive, watch the world fly by, See it melting in the rain" "But a terrible creature roams these parts We've been stalking it for years A beast that lives within the woods, The source of all of this fear" "We've never seen it, but we've heard the tales Twice the size of a killer whale, Tall and grotesque, with ferocious hair… The beast is known as the Yeti Bear" "There are things you just don't know, the World is full of Places you can't go Just search for what you're looking for From the safety of your home" "There's nothing you can do If the beast goes after you You don't even know the kind of Things that you can lose" "When you walk on down that line You may even start to lose your mind But if you just turn away, then you can Leave this all behind" No! There may be things that we don't know But you have to let us go So leave, and tell your friend To get his van out of the road Come on! "The Yeti Bear! Be be be beware the Yeti Bear" Oh hey look, it's Canada!
9.
We're at the borderline Of everything we dreamed of So close to being free Of all our pain and suffering What will our life be like? I can't imagine it at all Across the border Folks are friendly, and it's cleaner And from what I've heard The grass is always greener What will our minds be like? Leaving all our worries at the door I guess that must be what the border's for…
10.
Over the border Over the edge And soon enough We'll reach the end We're uninvited The only way out is through And since we've come this far There's nothing we can't do Off in the distance Two guards are keeping watch And right beside them Another's dozing off It's time to make the move Try not to focus on what we have to lose Make or break, this is our chance to choose I know we'll be happy if we can just make it through Watch where you're going It's so hard to see through these trees I thought the guard was sleeping But I think he spotted me And now they're running They must know why we're here They're right behind us This is everything we feared Is this the end? ('Cause I always thought our story would end a bit better) What happens now? (Maybe Canadian prison has better weather?) All I know is that I'm getting sick of being chased around "Get on the ground! Get on the ground! We'll bury you there if you dare make a sound" "Why are you here? What do you want? What more could you need with the life that you've got?" "Isn't it enough? Isn't it enough? How will you ever know when you have enough?" "Sneaking around like you think you're so tough But how will you know when it's ever enough?" Is this the end? What happens now? All I know is that I'm done with always being chased around Let's go now, it's time to make the move Try not to focus on what we have to lose Make or break, this is our chance to choose I know we'll be happy if we can just make it through (Yeti Bear Roars) "Oh my God, what the hell's that?"
11.
"It's the Yeti Bear!" The Yeti Bear The Yeti Bear It's the Yeti Bear! The Yeti Bear The Yeti Bear It's the Yeti Bear! The Yeti Bear The Yeti Bear It's the Yeti Bear! (Look at that...) The Yeti Bear The Yeti Bear It's the Yeti Bear! (It's… pretty cool) So sleek, he looks so fine With all that fur and grime He's half Yeti, and he's half bear With long and ferocious hair He scared the guards off to who-knows-where Now we're chillin' without a care Those two hippies told us to beware But there's nothing too scary 'bout the Yeti Bear
12.
(Yawns) Where are we? "Welcome to our humble Dark and enigmatic cave Life is what you make of it And this is what we've made" "The roots that run along these walls Are older than you'd know They protect us from the winter And its unforgiving snow" "Don't blindly follow all of the things you've heard Warnings without explanation are only words The world is much more beautiful than if it were black and white You should never get too comfortable in thinking that you're right" "Years ago I lay there, wounded Stuck beneath the rocks I was on an expedition And I must have gotten lost" "But as I prepared to greet the end I saw the Yeti Bear He brought me here and saved my life And shared his secret lair" "Don't blindly follow all of the things you've heard Warnings without explanation are only words The world is much more beautiful than if it were black and white You should never get too comfortable in thinking that you're right"
13.
Down with the Yeti Bear Down with the Yeti Bear Come out of your lair We know that you're hiding there What if he corrupts our children And then they start to stink? Or even worse, imagine if He makes them start to think Well I've heard that he kills the young And feeds upon their minds Leaving brains like scrambled eggs For those unlucky enough to survive We know what the Yeti Bear can do And this won't end till we stop it It's clearly too dangerous to allow And we refuse to drop it We lost our brother to that beast So many years ago He went too far and he got lost And vanished in the snow We've seen firsthand how powerful The Yeti Bear can be We must protect our fragile minds And keep them Yeti free (Yeti Bear Roars) That's it right there! You killed our brother And NOW YOU WILL PAY! We know what the Yeti Bear can do And this won't end till we stop it It's too dangerous to allow And we refuse to drop it Brothers! I was never lost What took you two so long? The Yeti Bear saved my life You've got the story wrong If you knew what the Yeti Bear could do You would never try to stop it It's lived in the woods for so many years So won't you please please just drop it? I'm waking up Just enough To know that I've been wrong But not enough To make it right Don't listen to a word they say, those are the demon's tricks The lies will spread until we're dead, and that's the end of it So close your ears and close your minds, don't look into it's eyes We all know that peace and love Are Evil's best disguise Kill the Yeti Bear! No, we need to listen to what it has to say! Yeti Bear, show them what you showed me! Listen to what he has to say! Open Your Minds! Listen!!!
14.
(Yeti Bear Roars) Everything flows into everything flows into Everything flows into… What is time? What is fame? What is fear? What is shame? What is death? What is change? What if we're All the same? Living on two frequencies Choosing Fear or Love Will you sink below as each wave breaks Or can you ride the tides above? Even if you fall down now You can always get back up Entropy will pull you down But you will always be enough There is no time There is no death There is no self So what is left? There's only love There's only fear There's only change And change is here Godhead Green and red Take me back From the dead I feel reborn I feel the change Now everything's A little strange But it won't last The feeling fades You must find Another way Bring this back To your life But it takes work And it takes lots and lots and lots and lots of Time
15.
I don't know why we're here And I don't know where we're going But it's ok I don't know what's coming next We never really do It's ok 'Cause I'm with you And we can set out in our car And we can travel near or far 'Cause home is just another name for wherever we are What has become of everything? Did you ever notice that the grass was always green? Always running for our lives But it's a game, and we're the same And we'll share this endless drive No need to flee the country No need to run and hide I'm sick of pointing fingers It's time to look inside Take the emptiness away Cast the demons from our minds And we'll be waiting for a better day Two twenties and a couple fives And we'll be onto better lives Fill the tank, and we'll be On our way And we'll see Everything that time permits We'll swing and miss and we'll have regrets But no matter what, remember It's ok We'll never understand the Yeti Bear But we can always find him there And even if we can't It's ok I'm waking up From this dream
